Volleyball Recap: Pueblo's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Nogales came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Pueblo, but Emma Castillo wouldn't allow it. The Warriors came out on top against the Apaches by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Castillo, who had 22 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Pueblo moved to 7-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Nogales, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Pueblo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Nogales, they will head out to challenge Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
