Jefferson scored the most  points they've had  this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a  blow  as they fell  73-57 to the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans. The Saints' loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it seven in a row.
 STEM School Highlands Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Avi Thakkar led the charge by  going 10 for 20  on his way to 24  points and seven  steals. Those 24 points gave  Thakkar a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braden Calme, who  went 6 of 10  on his way to 19  points and five  rebounds.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
 Jefferson will head out to  square off against Sheridan  at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they will welcome Two Roads Charter School  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
