The Whitehorse Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 100-28 win over Monticello. The victory was familiar territory for Whitehorse who now have four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whitehorse to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayla Mitchell, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mitchell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Heidi Clark, who scored 14 points.
Whitehorse is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Monticello, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Whitehorse will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against San Juan at 5:30 p.m. San Juan is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Monticello, they will head out on the road to challenge Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Grand County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday.
