The Pekin Dragons had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past East Peoria 48-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Pekin, who have now won three contests by 36 points or more so far this season.
Pekin's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for East Peoria, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Pekin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Peoria is also done with their season.
