With a playoff game on the line, the Bethesda Christian Patriots rose to the challenge on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 62-22 victory over the Knights. Bethesda Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 32 points or more this season.
Kenzie Fulks was her usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-5 from deep and almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bethesda Christian's points. Jayla Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
The win (which was Bethesda Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 18-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, their loss dropped their record down to 8-18.
Bethesda Christian and the Thunderbirds will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North Central will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Indiana Math & Science Academy North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
