Among those leading the charge was Wesley Foo, who had 17 digs and three aces. Those 17 digs gave him a new career-high.
They weren't the only good server: Rockville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are a perfect 9-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Norwich RVT had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy 3-2.
Norwich RVT took Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 15-13.
Rockville better keep an eye on Landon O'Brien. He was instrumental in Norwich RVT's win, getting 16 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Stimson, who had 11 digs and one assist.
Rockville's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Norwich RVT, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Rockville has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Norwich RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
