Warren is 9-1 against Titusville since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Warren Dragons will be playing at home against the Titusville Rockets at 7:15 p.m. Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Titusville likes a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Warren gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Conneaut Area 72-43 on the road. Given Warren's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Conneaut Area is ranked 449th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brady Berdine continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 33 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Barnes, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Titusville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Oil City on the road and fell 69-29.
Warren's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Titusville, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Warren against Titusville in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 84-45 victory. With Warren ahead 54-24 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
