Marion Gets a Boost from Jones in 38-7 Victory
Starting off the list is Marion's Timotheus Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win got Marion back to even at 4-4. Jones and Marion will head out on the road to face off against Anderson on Friday.

Antwoine Richmond was instrumental in extending Lafayette Jefferson's winning streak to eight on Friday. Richmond made eight total tackles and defended a pass, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 66 yards.
Lafayette Jefferson's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Richmond will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on McCutcheon on Friday.
