The Eastside Rams lost against the Buchholz Bobcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Eastside fell to Buchholz 41-35. Eastside has struggled against Buchholz recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Jamison Cardwell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Buchholz, scoring 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Cardwell has scored at least a third of Buchholz's points. Kennedy Wyckoff was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Eastside's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Buchholz, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Eastside won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Raines at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Buchholz, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Port at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (West Port is ranked 124th, while Buchholz is ranked 147th).
