It was a good run, but the St. Andrew's Highlanders unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legacy Prep Christian Academy.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charlotte Freeman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Freeman's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ginger Freeman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
St. Andrew's road trip will continue as they head out to face Brentwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st. Brentwood Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they will square off against Lake Country Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Country Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Legacy Prep Christian Academy in Texas (Lake Country Christian is ranked 157th, while Legacy Prep Christian Academy is ranked 507th).
