Greyhounds ranked No. 1 in the 2019 Fall MaxPreps Cup.
Propelled by three state titles, Carmel is the most dominant high school football team from Indiana in the last decade.
Based on MaxPreps methodology, the Greyhounds amassed 361 points from play over 2010 to 2019, to edge Center Grove, which finished second with 314 points.
Carmel won state titles in 2011, 2016 and 2019 and have been ranked among the Top 8 teams in the state all 10 years. Center Grove won a state crown in 2015 and finished 14-0 to pick up additional points. The Trojans finished No. 1 in the state in 2015 and 2016.
