Marengo Academy took a serious blow against Chambers Academy last Friday, falling 0-48. Marengo Academy's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, South Choctaw Academy took an ego-bruising loss against Escambia Academy two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Thursday. South Choctaw Academy had enough points to win and then some against Patrician Academy, taking their match 19-3.
South Choctaw Academy's win lifted them to 6-4 while Marengo Academy's loss dropped them down to 4-6. We'll see if South Choctaw Academy can repeat their recent success or if Marengo Academy bounce back and reverse their fortune.
