Volleyball Recap: Rochester Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Rochester won the last time they faced MacArthur and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Generals.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rochester was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8.

Peyton Zeidler paced Rochester's offense, picking up ten kills. Zeidler got some help from Cami Tinder and her 21 assists. Hadleigh Maley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for MacArthur, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Rochester will be taking part in a tournament against Mattoon at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for MacArthur, they will head out to face off against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
