Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Piedmont Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as George Walton Academy racked up 17.
Logan Blalock was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds for George Walton Academy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Blalock has scored at least 25% of George Walton Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Isiah Sloan, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
