The Crestview Rebels put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 54-32 margin over Poland Seminary. Crestview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.
Leading Crestview to victory were Luvrain Gaskins and Addison Rhodes. Gaskins dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Rhodes scored 24 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. The game was Rhodes' 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bri Dicross, who scored two points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Crestview's win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Poland Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully LaBrae focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday. As for Poland Seminary, they will be playing at home against Struthers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
