Hamlin barely beat Cross Plains the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pied Pipers put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 43-18 win on Friday. Considering the Pied Pipers have won five games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hamlin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke White, who rushed for 151 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards. Isaiah Hutchings was in the mix too, providing the Pied Pipers with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hamlin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Hamlin's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Cross Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
