She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sophia Nakachi, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.  Natalie Whipple was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Glendale Prep Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .725. They are 4-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
 Mountainside's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-4.
