The Trinity Christian Warriors will square off against the Cameron Dragons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Trinity Christian came out on top against Magnolia on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Warriors walked away with a 6-3 win over the Blue Eagles.

Nathan Adams was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Trinity Christian: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Cameron waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Lumberjacks. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Kason Angel and Zayde Long did most of the damage at the plate: Angel went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Long went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Long is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Camden McCaulley also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Cameron was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Cameron's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trinity Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cameron struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Cameron in their previous matchup back in March, as Trinity Christian made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
