Volleyball Recap: Leipsic Has No Trouble Against St. John's

Leipsic won the last time they faced St. John and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bluejays. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Leipsic took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Danaysia Danzy paced Leipsic's offense, picking up 14 kills. Danzy got some help from Karmyn Brough and her 27 assists. Brough was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Leipsic's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. John's, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Leipsic will venture away from home to take on Ayersville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John's, they will host Spencerville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
