Hamilton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Lions at 3:45 p.m. Hamilton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Hamilton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Chandler with a sharp 21-6 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their two-run performance the match before.
Jazmin Ramirez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Taylor Hampton was incredible, firing off two home runs, nine RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Amanda Benites, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .735. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Liberty challenged Boulder Creek on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Lions have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Liberty saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Violet Mitchell, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Taylor Dexter also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
Everything went Hamilton's way against Liberty in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Hamilton made off with a 10-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
