There's no place like home for The Hillsboro Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Venus, posting a 56-3 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hillsboro also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Quinton Latimore, who rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Latimore was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.
Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Venus, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Hillsboro will square off against Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Graham has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 151 points over their last three contests. Venus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
