It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-27, which was the final score in Trotwood-Madison's tilt against Woodward two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Bellbrook's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Mount Notre Dame, falling 51-22. Trotwood-Madison bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.3 points per game. As for Bellbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Trotwood-Madison took a serious blow against Bellbrook when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 78-50. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Trotwood-Madison was down 47-25.
