While Savannah put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Chillicothe. The Savages claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over the Hornets. Considering the Savages have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Aiden Knechtenhofer was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Savannah was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 221 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Savannah didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jackson Dudeck.

Savannah's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.5 points on average over those games. As for Chillicothe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Savannah will venture away from home to take on Maryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chillicothe, they will head out to challenge Odessa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
