Dayton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Talan Brown, who went 7-for-16 en route to 24 points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most points Brown has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Powell, who went 8-for-13 to rack up 20 points and four steals.
