The Cleveland Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the West Albany Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Albany took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cleveland, who comes in off a win.
Cleveland had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt McDaniel on Tuesday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Mountain Lions.

Jillian Lee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kailen Steffek, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Anabelle Sahler, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Cleveland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, West Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Lebanon.
Amelia Kidd 2026 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Macie Manning 2027 was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one double.
Cleveland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
