Noah Gomez put up the most stolen bases he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Chula Vista is undefeated when Gomez posts two or more runs, but 6-8-2 otherwise.

Gomez's strong effort led Chula Vista over Castle Park and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are 8-1 against the Trojans going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
