The Mt. Zion Eagles will challenge the Hiram Hornets at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
 Mt. Zion came up short against  Bowdon last Tuesday, falling  16-3. The Eagles have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Meanwhile, Hiram hadn't done well against Woodland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Hiram came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodland , sneaking past  9-8. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Arizona Jones was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Liliy Matinez, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Hiram, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.
 Mt. Zion might still be hurting after the  19-5 defeat they got from Hiram  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. Can Mt. Zion avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
