Plano West is 0-8 against Flower Mound since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Plano West Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Flower Mound Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. Plano West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Flower Mound is ranked third).
For the first time since back in January, Plano West was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Hebron finished up their game with a 3-3 draw.
Meanwhile, Flower Mound narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Coppell 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Flower Mound.
Plano West's draw makes their record 4-5-2 this season. As for Flower Mound, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Plano West might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Flower Mound when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Plano West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
