The Furr Brahmans will head out on the road to face off against the Scarborough Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Furr's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a tough blow as they fell 28-14 to Worthing.
Although Furr took the loss, they still got scores from Tashawn Johnson and Trevon Johnson.
Meanwhile, Scarborough's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 48-0 loss at the hands of North Forest.
Furr has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Scarborough, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
Everything came up roses for Furr against Scarborough when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 55-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Furr since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
