Paul VI barely beat Episcopal the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maroon on Saturday.

While Paul VI won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 26-24.

Mary Ross paced Paul VI's offense, picking up ten kills. Ross got some help from Olivia LeBlanc and her 23 assists. LeBlanc also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Louise Neuhart, each putting up three.

Paul VI's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Paul VI has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic on the 20th. As for Episcopal, they will challenge St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
