Big Game from (Bubba) Burras As Heritage Academy Won 56-20
Starting off the list is Heritage Academy's Kaleb (Bubba) Burras, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. (Bubba) Burras rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Arete Prep's probably not too fond of (Bubba) Burras given he always seems to get the better of them. When (Bubba) Burras last faced the CHARGERS back in October of 2023, he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Uriah Neloms was instrumental in extending San Tan Charter's winning streak to seven on Friday. Neloms turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 241 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown.
San Tan Charter pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Neloms and San Tan Charter will venture away from home to take on Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Paul Soltero Goes Supernova in Heritage Academy Win
Paul Soltero put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Arete Prep, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Soltero. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Soltero saw the CHARGERS), he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown.

San Tan Charter Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Dwayne Jones
San Tan Charter picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dwayne Jones. Santa Cruz Valley had no answer to Jones as he picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Jones has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 20 receiving yards per game.
