Cove are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Adrian/Jordan Valley on Friday at 1:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
If Cove were riding high off their 56-0 takedown of Cascade two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Cove fell just short of Elgin by a score of 26-28.
Meanwhile, Adrian/Jordan Valley didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 32-36 to Crane last Thursday.
The losses dropped both teams to 1-1. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
