Giltner extended the longest winning streak in D2 District 5 (8 Man) this week by beating Hay Springs, 90-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Hornets.
Giltner took down the Hawks 90-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Findley threw for 336 yards and seven touchdowns and ran for 25 yards in the win.
Giltner's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Findley has thrown for 2524 yards and 42 touchdowns this season, while Kyle Hawthorne has 53 catches for 1021 yards. Findley also leads the league in rushing with 354 yards.
Spalding Academy and Mullen played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Spalding Academy eventually emerging with a 27-24 victory.
