The Bynum Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Iredell Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
With a playoff game on the line, Bynum rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past Apple Springs, posting a 61-12 win on the road. The win was nothing new for Bynum as they're now sitting on four straight.
Blane Mynarcik continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 261 yards on only 14 carries. Mynarcik was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
Meanwhile, Iredell waltzed into Friday's contest with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 64-14 victory over Calvert.
Bynum's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Iredell, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Bynum skirted past Iredell 46-44 in their previous meeting back in October of 2019. Does Bynum have another victory up their sleeve, or will Iredell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
