The Kelloggsville Rockets fell to the Calvin Christian Squires 47-39 in the teams' previous meeting last month; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Kelloggsville enjoyed a cozy 54-43 win over Calvin Christian on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have won by 11 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Kelloggsville and bumps their record up to 13-4. This is the second loss in a row for Calvin Christian and nudges their record down to 12-6.
Kelloggsville will take on Godwin Heights next week. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Kelloggsville has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one. As for the Squires, they will face off against Godwin Heights on Tuesday. Calvin Christian won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
