After a string of five wins, Hazard's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Knott County Central Patriots by a score of 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs have suffered since December 28, 2023.

Hazard's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Knott County Central, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

Coming up, Hazard will be taking part in a tournament against Taylor County at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Taylor County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Hazard likes a good challenge. Knott County Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
