The biggest upset of the week belonged to Oskaloosa, who took down 216th ranked Immaculata, 20-14. Justin Sharp ran for 129 yards in the win.
Andrae McGaughy and Kyle Studer provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Onaga. The longest such play in Delaware Valley this season, the connection resulted in 95 yards.
Riverside [Wathena/Elwood]'s dynamic duo of McGaughy and Studer proved tough for the Buffaloes to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McGaughy threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns and Studer had 141 yards receiving. Dakota Pummell helped Riverside [Wathena/Elwood]'s passing attack out by catching four balls for 131 yards.
Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy's Brock Hanf and Brian Scott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hanf has thrown for 934 yards this season, while Scott, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 34 catches for 461 yards. The Raiders' Drew Sachen leads the league in rushing yards with 696.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Atchison County takes on the Junior Ravens. The Tigers are currently in sixth, while Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy is in third.
The Cyclones extended the longest winning streak in Delaware Valley this week by beating Onaga, 38-35. The victory was the sixth in a row for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood].
