  Emersyn Haney and  Lexi Kilgore did some serious damage despite the final result:  Haney  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Kilgore  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  America Montgomery, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, John Carroll Catholic got the win against Sipsey Valley  on Tuesday by a conclusive  7-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Cavaliers.
 John Carroll Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Jasper, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13.
 Jasper was able to grind out a solid  victory over John Carroll Catholic in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, winning  4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
