Softball Recap: North Medford Has No Trouble Against Century

North Medford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Century Jaguars on Monday as they made off with a 9-2 win. Considering the Black Tornado have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

North Medford pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Century, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

As of now, neither North Medford nor Century have any future games scheduled.
