The Male Bulldogs will challenge the Jeffersonville Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Male took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Anderson County by a score of 8-3. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won five in a row.

Drew Braun looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Kellen Goodman was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cameron Levey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Jeffersonville earned a 4-1 win over North Oldham on Saturday.
Carter Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.
At the plate, Jeffersonville's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cash Waters, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Ryan Crawford was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Male now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Jeffersonville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Male's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Bulldogs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Jeffersonville, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Male continue to outrun the ball?
