This season hasn't been kind to the Oelrichs Tigers, who are still winless after their eighth game. They took a serious blow against Edgemont on Friday, falling 60-27. Oelrichs was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Edgemont apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Edgemont was led to victory by Sebastian Morse and Keaton Darrow. Morse dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Darrow scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Darrow scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Cian Waite, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Oelrichs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Edgemont, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8.
Oelrichs will be playing at home against New Underwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgemont on the road again on Tuesday and play against Hyannis at 5:45 p.m. on January 16th.
