Texas Truth HomeSchool kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders 72-42. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concordia Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Boyd, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Ghaven Mittal, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.
Texas Truth HomeSchool and Concordia Lutheran will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Truth see the court they'll take on Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Concordia Lutheran, their break will end when they face Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
