Cascade waltzed into their contest on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Grundy County Yellowjackets get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Champions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Wickey Parker was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Milliken, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Cascade's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Grundy County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Cascade will have a chance to go back-to-back against Grundy County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
