Kearney won the last time they faced Scottsbluff and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kearney Bearcats strolled past the Scottsbluff Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for Kearney.

Kearney's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Scottsbluff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Kearney and Lincoln Northeast will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Kearney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Scottsbluff, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Campbell County at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
