There's no place like home for the Hesperia Christian Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Friday. They walked away with  a   63-52  victory over Riverside Prep  on Tuesday. For Hesperia Christian, this counts as revenge for the   46-39 loss Riverside Prep walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in January of 2023.
  Arlan Koester continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and 17  rebounds. Koester is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: he's  posted at least eight every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Ayden Ortega, who  scored nine points along with four  steals.
 Several Silver Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Raoul Churchill, who  scored 24 points along with three  steals. Churchill scored a full 46.2% of Riverside Prep's points, the sixth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marrion Brown, who  scored seven points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Hesperia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Riverside Prep, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 7-12.
 Hesperia Christian will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Academy for Academic Excellence at 7:00  p.m. Academy for Academic Excellence is coming into the  matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Riverside Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
