Byron had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Faribault on Monday. The Bears put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 12-6 win. That six run margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.

Byron's record now sits at 4-1. As for Faribault, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Byron will square off against Stewartville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Faribault, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Winona on the 15th.
