The Notre Dame Prep Saints waltzed into their match on Friday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Desert Mountain. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Notre Dame Prep also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
They hit Desert Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Reese Marshall,
Whitney Reinhardt, and
Paxton Bock.
Notre Dame Prep pushed their record up to 13-4-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those seven games. As for Desert Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-3.
Notre Dame Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Desert Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cactus Shadows is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
