Volleyball Recap: Commerce's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Commerce won the last time they faced East Hall and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0.

Commerce easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Claire Hollars paced Commerce's offense, picking up nine kills. Hollars got some help from Azalee Ring and her 13 assists. Lakyn Redmon controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Commerce's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-18. As for East Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Commerce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 15th. East Hall has also already played their next matchup (against Franklin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
