The Economedes Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the La Joya Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Economedes has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2.

Meanwhile, La Joya sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over the Bobcats on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for La Joya.
La Joya's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leo Villarreal, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Hunter Morales was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Economedes has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season. As for La Joya, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-14 record this season.
Friday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Economedes have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 37.5% of their threes per game. However, it's not like La Joya struggles in that department as they've made 40.9% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
