The Washington Blue Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Gallia Academy with a sharp 64-42 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Washington as they're now sitting on three straight.
Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but John Wall led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five rebounds. The match was Wall's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Noah Haithcock was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Washington's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points per game. As for Gallia Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
